This journey takes us from western Iran, near the Iraqi border, to the Southern Ocean, just south of Western Australia. We begin with a southerasterly view over the Persian Gulf, with the Arabian Peninsula on the right and Iran to the left.

We trace the Persian Gulf, passing directly over Dubai, the peninsula jetting into the Gulf.

The Indian Ocean approaches, and with it the terminator line.
